1. Licensor and scope
SEBHosting is the name under which the individual licensor offers VaultPilot. This EULA applies to VaultPilot software, installers, bundled documentation, and updates supplied under the license.
2. License grant
Subject to payment and compliance with this EULA, SEBHosting grants you a continuing, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use VaultPilot for your own internal personal or business purposes on up to three active devices. The license continues until terminated under this EULA and does not require a recurring subscription fee.
3. License restrictions
You may not sell, rent, lease, sublicense, publish, distribute, host for third-party access, share license keys, circumvent activation or device limits, remove proprietary notices, or use the software to violate law or another person’s rights. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software except to the limited extent applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction.
4. Copies and transfers
You may make reasonable backup copies of installers for your licensed use. A license may not be transferred to another person or entity without written approval. Replacing or retiring your own device may require license-management assistance.
5. Ownership
VaultPilot and its intellectual property remain owned by the licensor and applicable third-party licensors. This EULA grants usage rights only. No rights are granted by implication.
6. Third-party components
VaultPilot may include open-source or third-party components governed by their respective licenses. Those licenses control only the applicable components and do not expand rights in proprietary VaultPilot code.
7. Activation and licensing service
Activation may send the license key, a one-way hash of an installation fingerprint, optional device name, platform, application version, and timestamps to the licensing service. The software may periodically confirm license status. Details are described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Customer data and recovery responsibility
You control backup sources, archives, encryption identities, storage, permissions, retention decisions, and recovery procedures. You are responsible for independent copies and application-level restore testing. SEBHosting does not possess your self-hosted backup data or encryption identity unless you deliberately provide information for support.
9. Updates and compatibility
Updates may add, change, or remove features and may require supported operating-system or dependency versions. Planned platform support is not guaranteed. You are responsible for testing updates and preserving recoverable state before installation.
10. Term and termination
This EULA continues until terminated. It terminates automatically if you materially breach it, receive a refund, reverse payment, or use a fraudulent or unauthorized license. On termination, stop using and delete software copies. Provisions concerning ownership, restrictions, disclaimers, liability, and disputes survive.
11. Warranty disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the software is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation, recovery of any particular data, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement. Non-waivable statutory rights remain unaffected.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SEBHosting is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of data, profits, revenue, business, or goodwill; security incidents; or substitute services. Aggregate liability related to the software will not exceed the amount paid for the applicable license during the twelve months before the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
13. Export and sanctions compliance
You may not use, export, re-export, or transfer VaultPilot in violation of applicable export-control, sanctions, or trade laws.
14. Governing terms
This EULA is governed by applicable United States law and the applicable law of the licensor’s principal place of business, without displacing mandatory consumer rights. The Terms of Sale govern purchases and the Refund Policy governs voluntary refunds.
15. Entire agreement
This EULA and the incorporated policies are the agreement concerning the licensed software, unless a separately signed written agreement expressly replaces them. If one provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect.
