1. Refund window
You may request a refund for a direct VaultPilot purchase within 30 calendar days after the original purchase date. The request must be sent from the purchase email address, or you must provide reasonable proof that you control the purchase.
2. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with the subject “VaultPilot refund request.” Include the purchase email address, approximate purchase date, and the last four characters of the license key. Do not send a complete license key, payment-card number, password, encryption identity, backup archive, or private system information.
3. Processing
Approved refunds are submitted to the original payment method. Financial institutions may take additional business days to post the credit. Original currency conversion differences, bank fees, or processor timing are outside SEBHosting’s control.
4. Effect of a refund
When a refund is issued, the associated license may be marked refunded and deactivated. You must stop using VaultPilot under that license and delete installer copies and software copies, except for archival material you are legally required to retain. Refunds do not decrypt or delete customer-controlled backup archives.
5. Exclusions and abuse
A request may be denied where there is evidence of fraud, stolen payment credentials, refund or promotion abuse, unauthorized resale, material violation of the EULA, or a prior chargeback covering the same transaction. Purchases from a reseller or marketplace are governed by that seller’s refund process. These exclusions do not override rights that cannot legally be waived.
6. After 30 days
After the voluntary 30-day period, payments are generally non-refundable unless applicable law requires otherwise. Contact support for a material product defect or delivery problem so a repair, replacement, or other legally required remedy can be evaluated.
7. Relationship to other terms
This policy forms part of the Terms of Sale and should be read with the EULA.
