1. Who operates the service
SEBHosting is the name under which the individual seller operates the VaultPilot website and licensing service. Privacy requests may be sent to [email protected].
2. Information collected
- Purchase and contact information: email address, Stripe customer and transaction references, payment status, purchase time, legal-document acceptance version and time, and license status. Stripe processes full payment details; SEBHosting does not store complete card numbers.
- License information: license key, device limit, activation count, and license state.
- Device activation information: a one-way hash of the installation fingerprint, optional device name, operating platform, application version, and activation timestamps.
- Download information: selected platform, release version, filename, download time, a one-way hash of the request IP address, and a limited user-agent string.
- Communications: messages and information you send when requesting support, a refund, or other assistance.
- Security and technical records: ordinary request, error, and security records generated to operate and protect the website and licensing service.
3. How information is used
Information is used to process purchases, issue and validate licenses, enforce device limits, deliver downloads and license emails, provide support and refunds, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain security, comply with legal and accounting obligations, and improve service reliability.
4. Payment processing
Stripe processes checkout and payment information under its own privacy terms. Checkout information is sent directly to Stripe or exchanged with Stripe through secured service requests. SEBHosting receives transaction references and payment status needed to fulfill the order.
5. Service providers and disclosure
Information may be disclosed to service providers that perform payment processing, transactional email delivery, infrastructure hosting, security, and technical support functions. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and security, investigate fraud, or complete a business transfer subject to appropriate privacy protections.
6. No sale or behavioral advertising
SEBHosting does not sell personal information and does not use VaultPilot purchase, license, or download information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7. Cookies and similar technology
The VaultPilot website does not use advertising cookies. The payment processor and hosting or security providers may use cookies or similar technology required to provide checkout, fraud prevention, security, and service functionality under their own policies.
8. Retention
Purchase, license, and transaction records are retained for as long as needed to provide the license, process refunds, maintain accounting and tax records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Activation, download, support, and security records are retained only while reasonably needed for those purposes. Records may be anonymized or deleted when no longer required.
9. Security
SEBHosting uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access restrictions, hashed activation and IP identifiers, protected runtime credentials, authenticated download tokens, and encrypted transport for the public service. No system can guarantee absolute security.
10. Your choices and requests
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information associated with your purchase, subject to identity verification and records that must be retained for security, legal, accounting, or contractual purposes. You may also object to or restrict certain processing where applicable law provides that right.
11. Children
VaultPilot is a business and technical product not directed to children under 13. SEBHosting does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
12. International users
The service is operated from the United States. If you access it from another country, information may be processed in the United States and in locations used by service providers, subject to applicable legal protections.
13. Policy changes
Material changes will be posted with a new effective date. Information collected under an earlier policy will not be used in a materially incompatible way without appropriate notice or consent where required.
